The skirted boots
At some one-story department store, my dad and I and a few others were hanging out, getting ready to leave, but we were waiting for someone to come back to us. Out of boredom, we suggested to the guy with us that he should go search his living space for the hardest boots he owns (apparently he lived upstairs, above or near the store). So he wandered off to do that. We started walking past the section where the store had all its boots, which was near where we had been standing. One interesting pair of boots, fitted to mannequin legs (which only extended up the shin), looked almost like a whole lower half of the body wearing a teal skirt, but they were really some kind of single-leg covers that started right around the knee and draped partly down over the boots.
